We envision a church where people thrive. We want you, your kids, and everyone you know to
thrive at Grace because of Jesus. This is our vision statement and the reason we do everything we do
at Grace Church. We’re passionately committed to seeing people thrive in Jesus.Since the founding of Grace Church, the ministry has always been about two things: Jesus and people.
Started with a vision to make disciples, impact families, and reach the world with the gospel, Grace
Church has seen God move in amazing ways over the last 50 years! We’ve sought God diligently for
wisdom and direction as we look to the next season in the life of Grace. We believe that God has
answered that prayer and cannot wait to see the incredible things He does! We met as a church family on
January 26, 2020 and dedicated ourselves to the next phase of ministry for our church. Though the
challenges of 2020 interrupted many of our desires, we now plan to move forward with fresh energy and
passion to reach people for Jesus and lead them to maturity in the faith.
Building A Jesus Church
Grace is committed to making substantial strides forward in reaching emerging generations while at the
same time empowering our older saints to be a vital part of our future. If there has ever been a time when
God’s Church needs to come alive, it’s today! We have seen a pandemic, troubling cultural phenomena,
and countless recent hardships which have rattled the foundation of life as we know it. This has brought a
fresh reminder that the local church, acting as the hands and feet of Jesus, is the means that God intends
to use to reach humanity.
We are called to love God, love people, and radically influence our world for
Jesus. The leadership at Grace is committed to ensuring that Grace continues to be a beacon for Christ in
Lancaster County. God has moved in miraculous ways through this church and will continue to do so for
generations to come. The best days of Grace aren’t behind us. They’re ahead! We will truly become a
House of Champions where Young People can Thrive and ensure that the ministry of Grace Church
continues long into the future. We will resource kids and youth with renewed vigor while simultaneously
blessing and empowering our older saints as a critical part of the process. We ask that you prayerfully
consider giving over the next three years toward the the Thrive Capital Campaign. We will provide more
information, and pledge cards will be distributed in the weeks ahead. At this time, we want to invite you to
simply pray and ask questions. We truly value each of you and thank you for being a vital part of the
Grace Church family.
From cradle to retirement we believe every season of life is a milestone to be
celebrated. That is especially true for our PrimeTime adults. God has an
exciting future plan for each of us as we continue to grow, serve, mentor,
teach, and develop lasting relationships in the body of Christ.
Passion, Purpose, Pursuit
Our passion is to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. Our purpose
is to engage with others in fellowship, encouragement, friendship, compassion,
and outreach. Our pursuit is to be used of God to “declare His strength to this
generation and His power to all who are to come.” (Psalm 71:18)
We have a wide variety of events throughout the year. Check the
Events page to see what we are doing next! Join us and you’ll be amazed how
easy it is to fit in and be blessed with us!
We intend to overwhelm our local community with love and generosity. We are a
church that seeks to make an unprecedented influence in our area so that people
see and experience the extravagant love of the Father. We love people because
God loves people - with no ulterior motives or hidden agendas. We express this
love with extravagant generosity and care.

As we enter into a new phase of worship at Grace Church, let’s refocus our
hearts and minds on the character and truth of worship. Our worship experiences
can be pictured as the perfect dinner party. We greet people at the door, host
them by taking their jackets, and then leading them to the table. There we have
intentionally crafted an experience so that ultimately, we can sit and share
stories of the most miraculous Person to ever exist. We sit, laugh, cry, smile,
and rejoice over all that Person has done and will continue to do.
We hold the Word of
God in Reverence
We hold the Word of God in
From the songs that we sing to the lives that we live, we will stand firm on
the Word of God, holding it as the infallible truth of God and His purpose.
Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Psalm 119:105
There’s always a playbook. Let’s remember that when we bring people into our
home, we are accomplishing and performing the most important task in the
We sing songs rooted in Scripture and carefully evaluate theology
We Depend on the work of
the Holy Spirit
We Depend on the work of the Holy
Without the Holy Spirit working in our midst, we are simply singing songs.
In our two-way conversation during worship, we need to be receptive to the
work of the Holy Spirit within our worship. Romans 15:13, John 14:16, 2
At the end of the day, no matter how hard we plan an event, there needs to
be another supernatural level.
We pray before every rehearsal and service for the Spirit of God to
We are a team of Ushers
We are a team of Ushers
Just as we welcome someone at the front door of our home, it is our role to
bring people through an experience. We are ushers – bringing people around
His table to proclaim worth (share stories) of what Jesus has done.
Galatians 5:13, Acts 26:6-7
Let’s meet people at the door. Welcome them, bring them in, sit them around
a beautiful table, and listen to the music of a perfect conversation
We are not a silo ministry. We will be out in the lobby greeting people
and meeting new people before, during, and after the services
We will adhere to the dress code that is provided
We key songs and create environments that are acceptable to all people
from all demographics and walks of life
We are Worshippers
We are Worshippers first
As creatives we are constantly looking to use our art in every way
imaginable. We express art in our emotions and express our emotions in our
art. In the House of God, we are gathered not as musicians and artists, but
as worshippers who use our gifts to glorify Him and usher His people. When
off stage, we worship wholeheartedly and as passionately as we do onstage.
Isaiah 25:1, Psalm 150:6, 1 Chronicles 16:34
We are not here to showcase our top-notch chef skills. This meal isn’t about
us – it’s all about Him
We want you to be submerging yourselves in worship music throughout the
week. We want you to study it, absorb it, and most importantly, be a
worshipper throughout the week
We value Excellence
in everything we do
We value Excellence in everything
We are hungry for growth. We are hungry to get better. We yearn to grow in
our craft, in our spiritual walk, and in our environments. Therefore, we
highly value excellence, as it shows that we are showing how seriously we
take the preparation and proclamation of the house.
Colossians 3:23, 2 Peter 1:3-5
Don’t settle for mediocre frozen food and a partially clean house. Let’s

We choose Unity over
We choose Unity over division
Art is subjective. What I think looks good may be different than what you
think looks good. Not only is art subjective, but artists are subjective.
In this house, under this vision, let’s strive to be unified. Let’s rally
with a common voice and put our personal preferences aside, as they are
never as important as the goal. This is way easier said than done, so in
the gap of communication and the tense moments, let’s intentionally choose
unity over division.
1 Corinthians 1:10, Ephesians 4:11-13
Let’s be unified with our guests and keep our experiences uniformed. There’s
a place for disagreements, but let’s talk once the guests leave
We will use our circle of influence to cast vision about worship and
the importance of corporate singing while not engaging in ‘worship
wars’ conversations (song selection, tempo, volume, etc.)
We stand only by the finished
work of Christ crucified
We stand only by the finished
work of Christ crucified
Let’s not overthink or underthink our role in all of this. Without Christ
and Him crucified, we have nothing and are nothing. Therefore, every song
and every set will be centered around Jesus.
John 3:16, John 14:6, 1 Corinthians 1:18,23, Mark 15:25-39
There’s one common thread through all of us in all of our events – Jesus.
It’s the purpose of the meal and the purpose of our gathering.
We will take communion regularly as a team to continue to humble
ourselves and prioritize the living Christ.
